Harold “Heavy” Hargrove, age 76, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 30, 1948, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Cecil and Sally Powell Hargrove. Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist at Matrix Drilling and a security guard at Kantus. He enjoyed playing golf and woodworking in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Judy Mustain.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jan Hargrove; daughter Tammie (Thurston) Whitehead; stepdaughter Dee Dee (Matt) Hargrove; four grandchildren all of Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his memory.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
