Harold Edward Franklin, 76 of Dora, passed away September 4, 2023.
He was the retired Supervisor from the City of Adamsville-Street and Sanitation Dept. He was a graduate of Corner High School, class of 1965. He was an avid Alabama football fan. He loved to fish and was a deer hunter and loved dogs.
Funeral services will be Saturday Sept. 9, 23 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Nathaniel Byrd will officiate Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 1-2 pm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Aline Franklin; his brother, John L. Franklin and sister, Jeanette Perkins.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Franklin; daughters, Wendy Boggan (Bill) and Cindy Adams (Art); grandsons, Mason and Jared Adams; sister, Charlotte Woodruff (Jay); brother, Dearold Franklin (Joyce); several nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
