 Harold Dexter Segars, 81, died Monday, August 9, at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Mississippi and was a used car dealer for more than thirty years. He had served in the National Guard.

Services will be Wednesday, August 11, 5 p.m. at Old Path Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS with Bro. Lee Smith and Bro. James Segars officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Belmont, MS.  Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters – Ginger Poole (Donny) and Rhonda Segars; two grandchildren – Dustin Poole (Morgan) and Madison Fancher (Harrison); one great-grandson – Maddix Poole; one brother – Ray Cain (Michelle); one sister – Joyce Murley (Harold); sister-in-law – Rhonda Cain and a special cousin – James Segars.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Oswalt Segars; his parents, Gratis Segars and Lalla Cain (Lester); a brother, Ralph Cain and a nephew, Justin Cain.

Pallbearers will be Scott Cain, Reggie Segars, Bill McDonald, Stanley Page and Ronnie Cook.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11, 3-5 p.m. at Old Path Missionary Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.
