Harold Dean Meeks, 80, of Toney, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, December 20, 2024.
Born on October 15, 1944 in New Market, Alabama, he was the son of the late Bill and Margie Meeks. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of Kirkland Baptist church of Fayetteville, TN and retired from Redstone Commissary. He loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Margie Meeks and sister.
He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Hazel Marshall Meeks, his daughter Dena (Brian) Yell and son Keith Meeks; his granddaughters, Briana (Justin) Swaim and Bailee Yell, and his cherished great granddaughter Brinlee Swaim all of Toney, Alabama. He also leaves behind two brothers, Larry (Geraldine) Meeks and Kenneth (Joyce) Meeks of Fayetteville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Concord Cemetery, Sunday December 22, 2024 at 3:30 PM with Brother Jeremy Hudgins officiating.
