Harold Dean Glossup, Sr. of Pulaski passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was born in Pulaski on October 30, 1930 and was 86 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, He was a veteran of the United State Army, deputy sheriff of Giles County for many years, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and one of 12 children.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 11th from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 12th at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Debbie Eubanks and Rev Ray McDonald officiating.
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.
Memorial donations are suggested to Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home, 1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478 to help with funeral expenses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen and Laura Lee Bailey Glossup, brothers, Robert A. (Bobby) Glossup, Jr. Lowell Thomas Glossup, Freddy Glossup, Gale Glossup, James (Jimmy) Glossup and granddaughter, Deanna Lauren Glossup.
He is survived by his,
Wife of 57 years, Catherine Glossup of Pulaski
Daughter, Debbie (Wayne) Watson of Pulaski
Son, Harold “Dean” Glossup, Jr. of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Brandon Dean (Heather) Glossup, Chad Lee (Alanna) Clausel, Kristin (Ryan) Glossup Hampton, and Allison Deborah Watson
Great-grandchildren, Jacob Hampton, Mason Glossup and Malayna Hampton
Brothers, Samuel Clinton (Shirley) Glossup, Carl Douglas (Jean) Glossup and Joe Lee (Colleen) Glossup
Sisters, JoAnn VanHooser, Glenda (Denton) Simmons and Peggy Farrar
Numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins and friends.
