Harold C. Hites, 85, of Tuscumbia Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was a member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ, retired from Reynolds Aluminum, and served on the Board of Directors of Listerhill Credit Union. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.
He was born in Childersburg, Alabama, on December 26, 1929, to the late Harry Hites and Dolly Lakey Hites. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Hites, son Andy Underwood, and granddaughter, Brittany Underwood.
He was survived by his children, Dan Hites (Dru), David Hites (Penny), Alan Underwood (Susan), and Paige Redwine (Trent); grandchildren, Michelle Jerrolds (Daniel), Natalie Fletcher (Joey), Megan Baumgardner (Steven), Andy McWilliams, Clay Hites, and great-granddaughter, Sjaan McCargar.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, Feb 13, 2015, at Morrison Funeral Home, 825 N. Main Street, Tuscumbia, Alabama, with Brother Jeff Abrams officiating. Burial will take place at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral home on Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 6-8 pm.
