Harold Alan Lentz, 82, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at his home in the Patton Flat community. He was born October 5, 1941, in Itawamba County, to Lyle and Thelma Gentry Lentz. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in the Oakland community. He worked at Penn Tire until it closed and at Itawamba County Hospital until its closure. He retired from Atlas Manufacturing in Tremont. He did upholstery work for the public and enjoyed old tractors and cars.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Tim Box and Bro. Kerry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Wanda Lentz; four sons, Ken Lentz (Melinda), Jeff Lentz (Sherry), Terry Lentz (Amy), and Michael Lentz (Amy), all of the Patton Flat community; seven grandchildren, Zach Lentz (Kelly), Courtney Lentz, Taylor Lentz, Tiffany Garrison (Jasob), J.T. Lentz, Ava Lentz, and Lilie Lentz; one great grandchild, Drake Garrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Harold Wilson, Roy Johnson, Jr., Hollis Moore, Zach Lentz, J.T. Lentz, and Jasob Garrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hutcheson, Larry Underwood, and Roy Johnson Sr.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
