Refuge Church

FREE GROCERIES Saturday, April 13th, Refuge Church is giving away 30,000 lbs of free groceries to our community at Athens Middle School! The food distribution starts at 9 a.m. Due to the volume of vehicles, each vehicle will receive one grocery cart full of groceries. Volunteers are welcome! Dream Key Real Estate, LLC

Dream Key Real Estate, LLC is hosting a Cinco De Mayo Eve Block Party on May 4, 2024, starting at 4 p.m. in downtown Athens. Participating restaurants include Athens Alehouse and Cellar, The Salty Cod, Old Black Bear Brewing Co. Athens, Village Pizza, Lucia’s, the Southern Table, Ro’s Grille, & Studio 16 Cigar Lounge. Each stop will have specials for you to enjoy at your own pace. Limestone Legends Billiards will have the after-party beginning at 8 p.m. #dkblockparty

Athens-Limestone County young professionals are invited to these free-to-attend monthly meetups. Learn more about the Athens Rotary Club and Athena League, network, socialize, and support small businesses. Each meet-up is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

2024 Fridays After Five

The eagerly anticipated Athens Main Street Fridays After Five Music Series presented by The Orthopaedic Center – Athens is back, and organizers are thrilled to announce the stellar lineup. This year’s series promises an electrifying array of musical talent that will keep audiences coming back month after month.

Kicking off on April 26, the series will transform the east side of the Limestone County Courthouse into the ultimate destination for live entertainment and community celebration. Each month, attendees will have the opportunity to soak up the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy extended shopping hours with local merchants and delicious food from local restaurants. There will also be different savory and sweet food trucks and children’s activities each month.

The lineup for the 2024 Fridays After Five Music Series are:

We can’t wait to welcome patrons from near and far to join us for what promises to be an unforgettable summer of music and community.”

Admission to the Fridays After Five Music Series is free, with the party starting at 5 p.m. with DJ Zillion (https://www.facebook.com/djkjzillion) warming up the crowd until 6:30 p.m. and the main performance starting at 7 p.m. lasting until 8:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the music.
