Funeral Services for Hansel McGriff, age 79 of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Chapel of Cullman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Hope # 2 Cemetery, with Bro’s. Carlos Wilhite & Keith Whitley officiating.

Red was born on June 30, 1936 in Cullman, to the late William Henry & Delinda Estes McGriff; and passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He retired with over 35 years of service at C.R.M.C. and had served in the U.S. Air force. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dillard McGriff; 2 – sisters, Wilma Mann & Jeannette Whitley.
Survivors include his Wife – Betty Nesmith McGriff; Daughter – Teresa (Allen) Twilley; Son – Michael McGriff; Sister – Linda Wilhite; 5 – Grandchildren – Jyme (Rusty) Jennings, Kristin (Jonathan) Owen, Sierra Mauter, Cheranda (Shane) Reese & Derrick Twilley; 10 – Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
