Hannah Marie Sherer Akins, age 85 of Cordova, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Ridgeview Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery. Mark Lockhart will officiate.
Mrs. Akins was preceded in deathy by her Husband-Lesley C. Akins Sr.; Son-Mitchell L. Akins; Granddaughter-Courtney D. Sherer; Father-Chester V. Sherer; Mother-Mary M. Sherer; Sister-Lola Smothers; Brothers-Travis and Chester Sherer.
She is survived by her Daughters-Melissa Lane (AC), Melinda Sivley (Paul), and Melanie Ivey (Daniel); Sons-Michael Akins and Les Akins (Kayla); Sister-in-law-Regina Akins; 9 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Akins, Jeff Franklin, Nick Martin, Blake Ferguson, Dustin Akins, Jayden Collier, and Adam Moore.
