F.10.4.18 Hal Jackson.jpgHal Jackson, 75, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was born November 27, 1942 in Hamilton, Alabama in Marion County, son of the late James Neal Jackson and Edna Merle Lane Jackson. He retired in 2006 after having worked as a ramp agent for North West Airline for more than 40 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, James Barrett Jackson and William Gene Jackson; and sister-in-law, Audrey Ann Jackson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carol Seely Jackson of Villa Rica; daughter, Kim Cornelius of Trinity, Texas; grandson, Christian Cornelius of Trinity, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Richard Collier of Mobile; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lane and Becky Jackson and Roger and Kaye Jackson, all of Florence; and sisters-in-law, Lorraine Jackson of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Doris Jackson Holmes of Florence.

Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Bryan officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at noon until the hour of service. In keeping with the family’s wishes, his body has been cremated.
