H.M. was born on December 18, 1933 to George Hutcheson and Helen Hutcheson in Franklin County, Alabama. He graduated from Phil Campbell High School in 1951. He went to Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) and graduated near the top of his class with a degree in pharmacy in 1955. In 1956 he met and married the most beautiful woman on all of Sand Mountain, Lynette Hutcheson. This began their 64 year journey which took them to pharmacies all over North East Alabama. This journey ultimately brought them to Rainbow City, which would become their forever home. In February of 1971 HM opened up Super Bee Discount Pharmacy and spent the last 50 years working alongside his children Debbie, Michael, Kim and grand-daughter Abby. He loved his employees and customers like family. He poured his heart and soul into his community and his family.
H.M. had a gift of making everyone he came into contact with feel like a part of his family. He loved Auburn University and loved sharing that with his family and his friends. He was a devoted and loving father and the greatest grandad that anyone could have dreamed up. He knew and loved Jesus Christ as his savior and his life was a reflection of that. His well worn bible is a testament to his faith. He was the sweetest kindest person you could ever come to know and we will miss him dearly.
He was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Owen Hutcheson, sister Era Potter, son Michael Hutcheson, and daughter Kim Davis. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 64 years Lynnette Hutcheson, his daughter Debbie (Dale) Adams, his son Brad (Mitzi) Hutcheson, daughter-in-law Donna (Mike) Hutcheson. Grandchildren:, Tyler (Abby) Adams, Abby (Derek) Hodges, Lauren (Seth) Shirley, Jordan (Laura) Hutcheson, Briggs Hutcheson, Hayden Davis, Bryce Hutcheson, Will Davis, Bradley Hutcheson, and Brody Hutcheson and 10 great grandchildren.
