H.E. Barnes, Sr. 73, of Walnut, Mississippi, died Monday, September 17, 2012, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 5 PM on Wednesday, September 19 and continuing until service time at Souls Harbor Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Souls Harbor Church in Walnut, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Rich and Bro. Tim Wilbanks. Interment will follow in Community Pentecostal Cemete – –ry in Walnut. Pallbearers include Bryan Engelbert, Randy Barnes, Terry Barnes, Phillip Rickman, Danny Roach, Junior Dixon, Steve Barnes, and Roy Lee Barnes. Honorary bearers will be Jerry Kirk, James Earl Nelms, Harold Dixon, and Charles Moss. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margie Barnes of Walnut; 1 son – Harold Barnes, Jr. (Shelia) of Walnut; 3 daughters – Teresa Wilbanks (Ronald) and Cindy Prather (Tony), both of Walnut; and Vicki Hutson (Mike) of Glen; 1 sister – Marlene Russell (Junior) of Walnut; 9 grandchildren – Joel Barnes (Lindsey), Stacie Russell (Josh), Dustin Barnes, Josh Wilbanks (Shannon), Haley Hutson, Coty Prather, Heather Hutson, Kayla Prather, and Harley Hutson; 7 great grandchildren – Gracie Spencer, Collin Barnes, Ayden Wilbanks, Cooper Russell, Dallas Barnes, Brymlee Wilbanks, and Winter Barnes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Willie Mae Barnes; 3 brothers, F.A., Junior, and Vernon “Shorty” Barnes; and 2 granddaughters – Amanda Barnes and Hunter Hutson.
