H. Brent Prestley
November 20, 1973 – August 27, 2024
H. Brent Prestley, of Essex, Maryland, passed away August 27, 2024, at the age of 50. He was
surrounded by his wife and family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A graveside
service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Bro.
Jake Russell will be officiating.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Roy Melvin Prestley; and grandchildren, Evangeline
Harper Nealey and Ethan Aubrey Prestley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Melissa; mother, Margaret Prestley of Addison, AL; son,
Dylan (Jayme) Prestley of Berlin, MD; daughter, Emily (Jared) Nealey of Jacksonville, NC; brother, Scott
(Michelle) Prestley of Morris, AL; sister, Tracy Prestley, of Dora, AL; his grandchildren: Charlotte, Elijah,
and Elizabeth; and a host of nephews and nieces.
He proudly served and was a Veteran in the United States Marine Corps.

friends for their support through this difficult time.
