Gwyendlene Sue Brown, 81, of Cherokee, AL died on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Brown, Sr.; parents, Charles Lake and Daisy Bell Lake; son, Danny Lee Brown; three sisters.
She is survived by her son, J.D. Brown, Jr. (Kay Brown); grandchildren, Shanna Brown Thompson (Jamie), Sherry Walker (Jacob), Danny Lee Brown, Jr., and Jason Tyler Brown; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
