Mrs Gwendolyn Dowdy Harbin
Mrs. Harbin passed away Saturday morning, September 14, 2013 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.
The widow of Johnny Earl Harbin, who died on February 8, 2013, she was a homemaker. She was born August 2, 1938 in Hardeman County to William Henry Dowdy and Nina Frances May Dowdy and lived most of her life in Hardeman and Fayette counties. She loved to read and was a Baptist in belief.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Ridley of Bartlett; a son, Robert Harbin of Ogden, UT; eight granddchildren, Priscilla Hunsucker, Autumn Ridley, Caleb Harbin, Hannah Jacobson, jared Harbin, Sarah Harbin, Jessica and Julie Ridley; and seven great grandchildren. The family requests memorials be directed to the American Heart Association.
