GW Elliott, Jr., 93, died Thursday, December 19, 2024. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 6-9 p.m., at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Double Springs. The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 2 p.m., at the church with burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The body will lie in state from noon until the service beginning at 2 p.m. Pinkard Funeral Hom, Haleyville directing.
