Guy Ray “Jabo” Smith, 67, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Tishomingo Manor, Iuka, MS. He was born in Alabama and was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 28, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Bobby James and Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one daughter – Candy Shane Oswalt; one grandson – Christan Oswalt; one brother – Mike Smith (Rita) and three sisters – Louise Brown (Tony), Dianne Bennett (Gary) and Dorothy Orrick (Donnie).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Smith and Myrl Horton; one brother, Johnny Smith, Jr. and one sister, Betty Smith.
Pallbearers will be Gary Bennett, Tony Brown, Dale Grabitt and Donnie Orrick.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
