Funeral service for Gurnie Williams, 82, will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Grund officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery in Falkville, AL. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1933, in Morgan County to Addie Elizabeth Williams Mitchell. He was an employee of Metco, where he worked as a welder, prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife: Myrtle Lee Fortenberry Williams and his parents.
