Greta Fay Wright Eady

Mrs. Greta Fay Wright Eady passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1936, in Morgan County, to William Howard Wright and Thelma Verna Hawkins Eady.

Mrs. Eady lived in Alaska for 35 years before returning to her home community, where she taught children at Enon Baptist Church. She was employed as an LPN. She also was a Manager and Driver of Eva Senior Center for the Morgan County Commission on Aging, prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly.

She was a Kenai Masonic Lodge Member, was a Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, also was the President of Tugi Club (Women’s Shriner Club), and Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls, all while living in Alaska.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Novis L. Eady, her son: Michael Eady, a daugher: Patty Christianson, her parents: William and Verna Wright, brothers: Billy Wright and Tyson Wright, and a sister: Gwennell Taylor.

Survivors include:

Son-in-law – John Christianson, Soldotna, AK

Daughter-in-law- Pam Knudsein, Soldotna, AK

Brothers – John Wright (Vivian), Vinemont, AL
Calvin Wright, Cullman, AL

Sister- Dean Couch (Bobby), Hartselle, AL

Grand Child – Garrett Eady (Jen), Soldotna, AK

No services are scheduled but will be held at a later date by her family.
