Gregory Maurice Prince
Gregory Maurice Prince, age 69, of Gruetli Laager passed away on October 2, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. He was born in Huntland on February 9, 1954. Gregory was a hard worker, who had different jobs throughout his life including finishing concrete and being the co-owner and operator of Mountain Valley Janitorial. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing and hunting and all kinds of gardening. When he was not working or outdoors, he loved watching the Andy Griffith Show and the Outdoor Channel. Gregory will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his knowledge of all things, and his entrepreneurship. Gregory was a faithful member of Bivens Chapel Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lewis Morris Jr. and Ilva Morris; son, Jamie Lewis Prince; grandparents, Asa Owen Prince and Sara Edith Prince, Lewis Morris Sr, and Thelma Holman Morris. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Susan Prince; children, Jennifer Prince, Erin (Jameson) Fults; grandchildren, Emma Prince, Elaina Prince, Natalie Prince, Graham Fults, Beau Fults; siblings, Eydie (Jerry) Ashley, Tim (Karen) Morris, Jackie (John) Sons, Lisa (Jeff) Satterfield, Julie (David) Duncan; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 10am on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with John Ross Jones and Larry Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
