Gregory Lynn Holt, age 22, of Florence, Alabama, died Friday, June 14, 2013. The visitation will be Sunday, June 16th from 6-9:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Monday, at 2:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Paul Holloway Jr. will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Greg was an avid sports fan especially Alabama football and Miami Heat Basketball. He was in the 2008 Senior Class of Central High School. He was a member of the Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Russell Holt, Sr., maternal grandfather Almon Woods and maternal grandmother Beverly Holt.
Survivors include the loves of his life, his wife Chelsea Nobles Holt and precious son, Bentley Blayde Holt, mother, Phyllis Holt, maternal grandmother Eva Woods, paternal grandfather, Troy Holt, brothers, Mitchell Kelly (Melody), and Billy Holt, nieces, Grace Kelly and Kaitlyn Holt, nephews Marty and Riley Holt, special little buddy, Brody Oakley, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Hyde, Daniel Wilson, CJ Koger, Jameriz Vinson, Mark Oakley, and Michael Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bentley Blayde Holt Trust Fund at Farmers and Merchants Bank of Central Heights.
