Funeral for Gregory “Greg” Jerome Smith, 51, of Hartselle will be Friday, April 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Campbell and Bro. Rick Gilley officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 6, 1962, in Colbert County to Benjamin Smith Jr. and Elizabeth Cagle Smith. He retired as a truck driver from Water Brothers. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Cagle Smith of Hartselle; two daughters, Keri Michelle Smith and Kristen Smith Griffith and Brent, both of Hartselle; one brother, Anthony Smith and Vikki of East Lawrence; one sister, Angela Smith Morrow of Hartselle; two granddaughters, Angel Caroline Lodge and Layla-Kate Griffith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
