Gregory Browder Gray, known affectionately as Greg, passed away on August 7th, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee after a long – hard fought battle with cancer. Born on February 6th, 1965, to Nancy Ellen and Glen H Gray, Greg was a lifelong resident of Adamsville, Tennessee, a town he so dearly loved.
Greg was a graduate of Adamsville High School, class of 1983. Greg’s hobbies included watching all sports, as he enjoyed watching his nephew excel in all athletics that he participated in. Greg also enjoyed watching the Adamsville Cardinal football team play during Friday Night Lights as he loved to brag on and support his brother.
Sadly, Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents; Taft Gray, Coletta Gray Broadwell, T.A Browder, and Dean Browder; his father; Glen H Gray, his brother; Chad Gray, and his grandson; Chad Jackson Cole “CJ” Gates.
Greg’s memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his mother, Nancy Ellen Gray / David; his brother, Brandon Gray and wife Emily; his sister, Brittni Gray, his children, Chancy Battaglia and husband, Wes, and Skylar Gray / Dylan; his 3 grandchildren, Renlen Gates, Alivia Battaglia, and Luca Battaglia; step sister, Chasity Timberman, aunt, Patty Lowry, and his nieces and nephews; JC Gray, Layla Carroll, Joe Taft Carroll, and DeLaney Martin.
