Gregory Blake Story, age 35, of Gardendale, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was born October 17, 1988, to Gregory Story and Faith Story.

Blake was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and nephew. To know Blake was to instantly love him. He brought immediate warmth, personality, laughter, and lots of fun to every situation. He had an infectious sense of humor that entertained and brought smiles to countless people. He was a born and raised Alabama boy, who loved spending every autumn cheering for the Crimson Tide. Blake loved participating in passionate conversation and spirited debate about football, faith, and family. In his free time, he was a true southern man who loved fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.
Blake deeply loved his family, his church, and Jesus. He had a deep passion for serving and helping others overcome struggles they were dealing with.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Story; grandfather, Lew Hall; and grandmother, Gail Story.
Survivors include his son, Paxton Story; mother, Faith Story; sister, Brooke (Matt) White; nephews, Garner White and Hollis White; grandfather, Gilman Story; and grandmother, Vera Hall.
