Greg Rose, age 64, died on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Greg was born in Rockwood, TN on October 30, 1953, the son of Joy Howard Rose and the late Boyd Rose. He graduated from Hillcrest High School, Memphis, and The University of Memphis. He was an accountant by profession having worked for Truck Parts Specialists, Memphis for many years and later Park-It-Here. Greg enjoyed cooking for loved ones. He also enjoyed woodworking in his shop and was an avid Star Trek fan. Greg was a compassionate helpmate to his wife in the caregiving of her parents for many years.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Diane Rose of Jackson, TN; a daughter, Miranda Goldsby and husband Drew and their daughter, Cora Joy Goldsby all of Jackson, TN; his mother Joy Rose and brother Marvin Rose both of Crossville, TN.
SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson, TN.
A visitation and graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis with a graveside to follow at 12:00 PM.
The family is requesting that donations be directed to Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center c/ o scholarship fund or to Northside United Methodist Church Outreach Ministries-Team Read, 2571 N. Highland Ave., Jackson, TN 38305.
