Mr. Grady William Stegall, Sr., age 75, died Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at North MS Medical Center – Hospice Unit following an extended illness. He was born May 21, 1949, in Amory, Mississippi to the marital union of Robert Stegall and Grace Cruse Stegall. Grady worked as a Porter employed by Carlock Toyota for eighteen years, where he worked at the time of his death. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a member of White Hill Baptist Church.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 AM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at White Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffrey Daniels officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM to service time Monday, all at the church. Interment will follow at Pontotoc City Cemetery. Holland Funeral Directors are entrusted with arrangements and honored to serve the family.
Survivors include Grady’s mother, Grace Stegall of Pontotoc; his children Grady William Stegall, Jr. (Keshia) of Biloxi, MS, and Rhonda Cox (Marcus) of Tupelo, MS; two brothers, Tommy Pegues (Dorothy) of Saltillo, MS, and Hubert Pegues, Jr. of Pontotoc, MS; one sister, Bessie Stegall Stephens of Tupelo, MS; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Grady was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stegall; two brothers, Jackie Cruse and Curtis Stegall, Sr; two sisters, Birdie Mae Stegall Green and Betty Jean Stegall Rogers.
