Grady Delaner Smith, age 81, of Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019. He retired from Fontaine Trailer Company and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with John Humphres and Todd Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jake Pickens, Larry Pickens, Keith Whitman, Josh Warhurst, Judd Warhurst, Robert Price, Derrell Potter and Rickey Phifer. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Potter and Kyson Carter.
Mr. Smith is survived by his children, Edith (Anthony) Baugh and Buddy (Carol) Smith; sister, Charlcie Price; grandchildren, Holly Baugh, Tracey (Derrell) Potter and Whitney (Todd) Carter; and great grandchildren, Jacob Potter and Kyson Carter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie Beck Smith; wife, Clovis Smith; and sister, Julia Whitman.
