Grace McFall Lawson, 95, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was the last surviving child of Parker and Selma McFall who preceded her in death.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Raymond Lawson; brothers, Fred and David McFall; sisters, Ola Barber, Annie Lee Seaton, Lena Hale, Mary McLaughlin, and Frances McFall.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Kelley and husband, Wayne; sons, Dwayne Lawson and wife, Debra, Alan Lawson and wife, Nancy, all of Florence.  Grandchildren, Matthew Kelley and wife, Cindy, Kim Lawson and husband, Antonio, Alana Hester and husband, Chad, Russ Lawson, John Kelley and wife, Jennifer, Blake Lawson and Angela, Katie Griffith and husband, Mike, Mark Lawson and wife, Jaime; great grandchildren, Mary Grace Fisher and husband, Dawson, Lauren Kelley, Jay, Anna Lee, and Sam Hester, Elizabeth, Raymond, and Daniel Kelley, Anne Katherine and Graham Griffith, Harper and Avery Lawson.

Grace was a longtime and faithful member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.  She was the ultimate homemaker and southern lady. If you ever visited her house and left hungry, it was your own fault.  She would always insist on feeding you something.  She loved attending her children and grandchildren sporting events, especially baseball games.

Services will be held at Greenview Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, with visitation beginning at 12 noon and the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Weldon officiating.  The burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew and John Kelley, Russ, Blake, and Mark Lawson; and great grandson, Jay Hester.

Honorary pallbearers are Tony Lovelady, Chad and Sam Hester, Mike and Graham Griffith, Raymond and Daniel Kelley, Ferrin Bayles, Dan Davis, and Tommy Patterson.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt and special thank you to her caregivers, grandson, Russ, Pearl Terry, Patsy Strickland, Sandy Balentine, Cheri Broadfoot, and our dear cousin, Jennifer McFall; nurses, Lindsey and Jenny; bath ladies, Michelle and Lisa for the love and special care they gave to our mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Church or the charity of your choice.
