Grace M. Hardin, 97, of Florence, died Tuesday January 14, 2014. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Henry Melton and Brother Tommy James officiating. Burial will be in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hardin was born in Clifton, TN to James C. and Pearl Butler Mathis. She was a member of Faith Church in Florence and retired from the Lauderdale County Health Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff C. Hardin. Surviving are her sons, Wallace Gene Hardin (Margaret), Franklin, NC, Jeff Gary Hardin (Susan), Albany, GA and Clay H. Hardin (Elaine), Florence; sister, Lura Brown, Stuart, FL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry English, Mike Nash, Steve Manley, Clay White, Jerry Bates and Ray Thigpen.
