Grace Ellen Cole 84, died Sunday June 28, 2015. The funeral service was 2:00pm Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. Interment was held at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Larry Lewey was officiant.
She retired from Shoals Hospital as a PBX operator and a member of York Terrace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Alfred Cole and husband Alfred Woodrow Cole.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Campbell; her sister Betty Hallmark; her grandchildren Kip Campbell, Melissa Lewey and husband, Larry, Misty Snider, Jimmy Cole, and Gary Cole; great-grandchildren Chezley Holland Ilano, Barrett Holland, Lily Campbell, Houston Lewey, Talon Lewey, Craven Lewey, Paxton Lewey, Banks Lewey; and great-great grandchildren Noble Ilano and Thorin W. Holland.
Pallbearers were John Holder, Kip Campbell, Stuart Setliff, Trey Holland, Barrett Holland, Bud Childress, and Leon Roden
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her daughter Shelia for the love and care she has shown to her mother. They would also like to recognize, Lily, the great-granddaughter she helped raise, who held a special place in her heart.
