Gordon Wilkins Russell, Jr. age 50 passed away June 17, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born October 15, 1963 in Joliet, IL the son of the Gordon Wilkins Russell, Sr. and the late Mary Ruth Clements Russell. He attended schools in IL and after High School he worked as an industrial electrician for many years. He moved to Chester County in 1991. Mr. Russell was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
Mr. Russell is survived by two daughters, Haylee Ann Marie Russell of Jackson and Michelle Russell of Joliet IL and two sons, Caleb Tyler Russell of Jackson and Matt Russell of Joliet IL; his father, Gordon Russell of Henderson and two brothers, Michael Russell of Jackson and Samuel ‘Joe’ Russell of Savannah; a niece Marilyn Russell and a nephew Samuel Joseph Russell Jr.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Mike Cothren officiating and burial will follow in Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel Friday from 5:00 P.M.- 9:00 P.M.
