Funeral Services for Gomer Nyleen Wilbanks, 79 of Corinth are set for Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Holly Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Matthew Smith will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Richard Becht, Damon Becht, Terry Gray, Landen Vanderford, Charlie Wilbanks and Joel Davis. Born January 28, 1945, in Booneville, MS, Nyleen passed from this life on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at her home in Corinth. She was former business owner of James Carwash in Corinth. Mrs. Wilbanks was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, taking care of everyone, riding four wheelers, fishing but her favorite pastime was cooking. Nyleen is survived by her daughters, Marie Sims and Betty Gray (Wendell); 4 grandchildren, Lisa Becht (Richard), Tran Vanderford, Terry Gray and Brandy Smith (Bro. Matthew); 8 great grandchildren, Damon Becht (Abby), Brooklyn Vanderford, Landen Vanderford, Hayden Vanderford, Braylee Smith, Kenlee Smith, Colt Smith and Carter Smith; 1 great great grandchild; Everleigh Becht; sister, Patsy Green (Bobby); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Vanderford; father, Leon Roberts; mother, Eupal Roberts; brothers, Harold Wayne Roberts and Ronnie Leon Roberts; sisters, Jannette Weldon and Kathy Johnson and her companion, Cotton James. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Gomer Nyleen Wilbanks.
