Funeral for Glynda Ann Alexander Parker, 80, of Moulton will be Monday, July 13, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Fiscus officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parker, who died Friday, July 10, 2015, at her residence, was born August 4, 1934, in Lawrence County to Watt Alexander and Earline Latha Alexander. She attended Old Town Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gurnie L. Parker; her parents; and sister, Katie Pearl Parker.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Ray Parker and Joyce and Rickey Parker, all of Moulton; two grandchildren, Nicholas Parker and Teshia Lindsey of Moulton and Ashley Rutherford of Kentucky; two stepgrandsons, Scott Curry and Katina of Moulton and Jason Curry and Stacy of Decatur; one great-grandson; four stepgreat-granddaughters and one stepgreat-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bishop, Scotty Curry, Jason Curry, Ronald Curry, John Wayne Martin and Tony Hollis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Parker and Mike Bird.
