Gloria Ferguson Tutor, 87, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House – Tupelo, MS. Gloria was born on April 4, 1936, in Randolph, MS to William and Willie Faye McGregor and remained a lifelong Pontotoc County resident. A longtime retired seamstress, she enjoyed traveling to NC mountains and working in her yard and garden.
Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Ferguson Ryan; her 5 grandsons, Chad Long (Amanda), Sonny Feguson (Rachel), Josh Ferguson (Tina), Jarrod McCord (Cindy), and Jacob McCord; stepson, Tony Tutor; the mother of Sonny and Josh, Dottie Ferguson; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raymond Ferguson; second husband, Billy Tutor, and her son, Randy Ferguson.
Services will be Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Dr. David Hamilton officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Guinn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad Long, Sonny Ferguson, Josh Ferguson, Jarrod McCord, and Jacob McCord.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
