Funeral service for Gloria Braswell Lansdell, 86, will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Carroll officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lansdell died on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born October 18, 1937, in Tennessee, to Omer James Braswell and Gussie Hilda Hamilton Braswell.
She was married to Leslie Wayne Lansdell, prior to his passing in June of 2012. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Morgan County, and was employed by Summerford Nursing Home as a cook, prior to her retirement. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going out to eat and listening to music.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, a brother: James Braswell and sisters: Linda, Jacklyn, Rose Mary and Wiladean.
