Obituary of Gloria Ann Miller Gloria Ann Miller, 77, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Visitation will be on July 6th 2024 from 1pm to 3pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 3pm in the Chapel, with Pastor John White officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery

Gloria is survived by her children Keith Clemons, Mike Clemons (Karen), and Cam Miller (Gayla); step-children, Marian Miller and Lisa Parrish (Marston); siblings, Eddie Hammon (Gerlinda) and Donnie Sims; grandkids, Jessica Clemons, Sydney Walker, Maggie Raney, Kiana and Takoda Clemons, Rylan Liles, Annistyn, Skylar and Wylder Miller; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Miller; parents, John D and Annie Mae Hammon; daughter, Anita Raney; stepdaughter, Michelle Miller; grandson, Brian Clemons and daughter in law, Gean Terry.

Gloria was born November 17, 1946 in Decatur AL. Gloria Started singing with her family at a young age. She was sang her whole life. She loved to roller skate at Bonnie’s Roller Cade where she was elected Roller Queen at 14. She married Joe Clemons at a young age and they had three children. She later married Gary Miller and they had one child. Gloria worked various jobs and was retired from the Alabama State Lab in Decatur. Gloria loved the beach and made sure to take yearly trips to visit her brother. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved all her friends and family immensely.

 

Pallbearers will be Chris Terry, Takoda Clemons, Eldred Sims, Gary Hammon, Mickey Hammon, and Ricky Hammon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the VFW in Decatur at 2309 Veterans Dr SE, Decatur, AL 35601.

Roselawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
