Gloria Anita Puckett, 71, passed away June 29, 2023, at Pontotoc Long Term Care. She graduated from Algoma High School and worked as a gifted seamstress in the clothing and furniture industries. She loved to cook – whether she realized it or not she built a sense of community and family among anyone she served. Affectionately called Neno by friends and family, she was a loving mother and grandmother who was open handed with anything she had to anyone in need.
Survivors include her sons, Brock (Amanda) Puckett of Ecru and Brant (Jessica) Puckett of Pontotoc; 2 sisters, Rhonda Martin and Jeanie Faulkner; 1 sister-in-law, Martha Kincade; 6 grandchildren, Shane Puckett (Lindsay), Taylor Puckett, Cora Grey Puckett, Campbell Puckett, Grange Puckett, and Avery Puckett; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kinslee Ferguson and Layton Puckett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Puckett; son, Brooks Puckett; parents, W.D. and Juanita Little; grandchildren, Will Puckett and Blake Puckett; sister, Sharon Lilly; and 2 brothers-in-law, Bruce Martin and Richard Lilly.
Services will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 5PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Jimmy Flake officiating and Gary Campbell delivering the eulogy. Visitation will begin at 3PM and continue to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Steve and Eli Faulker, Scott and Jamie Lilly, Devin Martin, and William Ogg.
