Memorial service for Glennis Wayne Terry, 70, of Town Creek will be Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Andy White and Raymon Sutton officiating.
Mr. Terry, who died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at his residence, was born May 3, 1943, in Lawrence County to Fade Columbus Terry and Iva Dell Conner Terry. Glennis attended Auburn University where he received his master’s degree in education. He retired as an educational administrator in Orange County (Orlando, Fla.)He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruby May Terry; and one brother, Dennis Young Terry.
He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Joyce Elaine Karaff Terry; two sons, Gregory Alan Terry (Delinda) of Melbourne, Fla., and Douglas Wayne Terry of Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Lisa Elaine Terry Bazler (Donald Joseph) of St. Augustine, Fla.; and two grand- children, Kacey Elaine Bazler and Kyle Joseph Bazler of St. Augustine.
