Glenn Perdue, age 77 of Bremen, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bremen, Alabama on February 5, 1945 to Dennie Elam Perdue and Mildred Phillips Perdue. Glenn preached at Wheeler Grove Church of Christ for many years; after he retired from farming, he owned and operated the Hamby Mill Flea Market along with he love of traveling and his tractors. Glenn loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a loving husband for 58 years and was a loving father.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Dennie and Mildred Perdue; mother and father in law, Dwight and Lessie Lee; daughter in law, Samantha Perdue; brother, Donald Perdue; nephew, Harvey (Kim) Hawkins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Freda Lee Perdue; son, Keith Perdue; grandchildren, Jordan (Marley) Perdue and Karlee (Collin) Uhlar; great grandchildren, Colt Perdue, Adelyn Perdue, Case Perdue, Caroline Uhlar and Kennedy Uhlar; sister, Myra (Bobby) Pitts; sisters in law, Joan Williams and Hilda Nichols; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 from the graveside of Dorsey Creek Cemetery in Bremen with Brother Jeremy Calvert officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday.
