Glenn BusserGlenn Busser (80) passed away peacefully on the evening of September 4th, 2024, surrounded by his family. As a witty, devoted, and charismatic husband, father, grandfather, friend, and believer in Christ, Glenn has left behind him a legacy. He attended Engelwood High School in Jacksonville, FL, where he played football as a tackle. It was also there where he met Ann, the love of his life, and married her in 1966. He coached little league for his son Charlie and attended his daughter Lisa’s dance recitals. He also acted as a deacon and elder at Mandarin Christian Church. A longtime resident of Anniston, he devoted much of his time to Carpenters for Christ and Golden Springs Baptist Church where he served as a member for 21 years. When he wasn’t at church, Glenn found adventure, traveling around the country with his friends in the Corvette club since 2010. His spirit, joy, and love will be deeply missed.

Mr. Busser is preceded in death by both of his parents Milton and Dorris Busser, and also his sister Linda Hannus.

His survivors include: his loving wife Ann Busser, two children, Glenn Charles “Charlie” Jr., and Lisa Hart (Brian) of Milton, FL; three grandchildren, Haley Bush (Gwyn) of Nashville, TN, and Ethan and Chloe Hart of Milton, FL; his dogs Snickers and Bobo; and the many beloved friends he made wherever he went.
