Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Glenn Allen Walker, age 65 of Cowan. Mr. Walker passed from this life to join his mother and father in heaven on August 24, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. Glenn was one of six children born to James Paul and Sadie Hill Walker on July 20, 1955. Glenn was employed by Lanier Clothing and Shaw Industries until his health began to fail. His favorite pastime was growing a garden, playing Rook with his family every Saturday night and camping on the mountain & river. He loved gospel and rock music, everything from Credence Clearwater Revival to Ralph Stanley. He was a beloved brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, T.J. and Bertha Walker and Hugh and Edna Hill; parents, James Paul and Sadie Hill Walker; special aunt, Virginia Parham. He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his passing, sisters, Ruth (David) McBee, Brenda (Charlie) Hill & Shirley Curtis, all of Cowan and Doris Jenkins of Winchester, step-sister, Linda Hill of Nashville; brother, Danny (Sherry) Walker of Cowan; nephews, Greg, Rocky, Jason, John, Chucky, Derrick and Matthew. He is also survived by special nieces and nephew who he called his babies, Amanda, Daniel Walker, J.P., Savannah, Elaine and Daisy. Friends and family will gather at Cowan-Montgomery Cemetery at 1 p.m. Saturday August 29, for a graveside service with his nephew Jason Curtis of the Liberty Baptist Church officiating.
