Glendale F. Holt, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the age of 77. Her visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Will Vaden officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Glendale was a native of Colbert County and a lifelong member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and adoring grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. “Bud” Holt; parents, James M. and Letamae Davis Flanagan; and brother, James D. Flanagan.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey W. Holt and wife Ester of Muscle Shoals; daughter, LaWanda McLin of Huntsville; sister, Evelyn Brown of Madison; sister-in-law, Betty Flanagan of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Amber Brown, Marissa McLin and Trace McLin; and great-grandchild, McKenna Hunt.
Pallbearers will be Benji Box, Jackie Gargis, David Gargis, Phil Gargis, Anthony Brown, Michael Barber, William Crosswhite, Terry Bradford, and Clint Holt.
