Glenda T. Wooden, 70, Florence, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be at noon at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lucille Thompson and her husband, James “Jimmy“ Wooden.
She is survived by her sisters, Kathy Kirby and June Green; brothers, Wayne and Jeff Thompson; daughters, Brenda Wooden-Castle (David) and Linda Zills (Michael), Charlotte Furnair (Jerry), Martha Bonds (Travis), Kathy Bredlow (Jon); son, James Ivan Wooden, Jr. Grandkids include Brianna Castle, Scott Lee, Brandon Lee, with an additional nine grandkids, two stepgrandkids, 20 great-grandkids, eight stepgreat-grandkids, and two great-great-grandkids.
Pallbearers will be Scott Lee, David Castle, Jerry Furnair, Mike Zills and James Wooden.
