Born November 4, 1949, to James and Lillie Mae Underwood, Glenda Sue Wilson departed this world for her heavenly home on July 30, 2024.
Ms. Wilson was a quality control worker at Tyson Foods for 25 years, where she was able to meet a lot of her friends and help many people. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving on them always gave her a smile.
Ms. Wilson was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Manuel Wilson; her four brothers, Leo Dailey, Woodrow “Buddy” Underwood, Harold Dailey, and James Dailey; and three sisters, Nettie Ruth Mead, Peggy Haynes, and Linda Collins.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Leslie Fite, and LeeAnn (Joe) Pyatt; her grandchildren, Brook (Cody) Rose, Brandy (Austin) Grayson, Zachary Pentecost, Blake Southern, Dakota Jones, Brody Pyatt, and Karter Pyatt; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Layla Rose, Ann Marie, Franklin, Izzy, and Cahance Grayson, and Briar and Branch Elrod; one sister, Overa Twilley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Ms. Wilson August 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church in Blountsville, Alabama.
