Glenda Stinson Worley, 82, of Huntsville, AL, passed away in her home in Mount Jackson, VA. on Thursday, June 30, 2022, with her loving daughter by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Worley, her son, Michael E. Worley, a sister, Erma Denton Sanders, and a brother, Roy Gaines.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Ellis; son-in-law, John Ellis; daughter-in-law, Pam Worley; grandchildren, Brett Ellis, Bradley Ellis, Brayden Ellis, Abigail Worley Raines (Mason), and Michael Worley; and her loyal dog, CeCe.
Mrs. Worley worked at Roper’s Florist for many years and at TRW/Northrop Grumman. She was a hardworking and valued employee and was loved by all with whom she came in contact. After retirement, you could find her working hard in her garden or planning the next Bunko get together. She was a dog lover, always having at least two roaming the house.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday, July 6 at Holmes Street Methodist Church, with the service following. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memory Gardens following the service.
