Glenda Hardiman Hall – Obituary

Glenda Hardiman Hall of Madison, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born March 20, 1937 in Madison, Alabama and grew up in rural Limestone County as the daughter of a cotton farmer. Glenda later attended Berry College where she met her husband, Douglas Hall.
Glenda was an avid gardener with a tremendous love of nature. She was also an accomplished artist and avid reader. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and ability to keep a friend’s secret. She was a lifetime member of Parker Chapel in Madison, Alabama.
Glenda faced sarcoidosis, Parkinson’s, and congestive heart failure with determination and grit, fighting the good fight with grace and an incredible sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas, children Jim Hall, Jeff Hall, Rhonda Szamier, six grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. She and Douglas were married 59 years.
Visitation will be held at on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Madison Chapel Funeral Home, 8521 Highway 72, Madison, AL 35758.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2 PM at Parker Chapel, 28670 Powell Road, Madison, AL 35756.
Family requests donations be sent to Parkinson’s Research Foundation or directly to Parker Chapel, Madison, Alabama.
