Glenda Faye Gasaway, 67, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born October 11, 1956 to the late Travis Rogers and the late Lillion Justice Rogers in Itawamba County. She was a member of Believer’s Baptist church. Glenda worked at Lance Garment factory for many years and she loved to work on tractors, where she was well known for her talent of painting them. She loved her family very much and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday March 21, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy King, and Bro. Shane Ray officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday March 20, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Gasaway of Fulton; son, Gary Lee Gasaway of Red Bay, AL; grandchildren, Tyler Lee Gasaway, and Kenleigh Kate Gasaway; brother, Harold Eugene (Wanda) Rogers of Golden; sisters; Betty Lindsey of Fulton, Elaine Ozbirn of Fulton, Linda (Trelvie) Petty of Golden, Brenda Williams of Fulton, and Patricia Carr of Golden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Lillion Rogers; brothers, Hermon Rogers, and Thermon Rogers; sisters, Nellie Curtis, and Gloria Rogers.
Pallbearers will be the Masons of Fairview Lodge # 457, David Futrell, Bill Sheffield, Ricky Mitchell, Thomas Holland, Stevie Jones, and Donnie Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Long, Darrell Harp, Doice Dulaney, and James Neaves.
