glenGlen Riggs, 72, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his home. He was born December 31, 1943 in Lee County to Marshall and Mamie Riggs. He was a 1962 graduate of Mooreville High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mississippi. He was a lab technician at FXI for 33 years and a member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed art, motorcycles and studying Chinese.
Services will be 11 AM Friday, November 11, 2016 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Calvin Warren and Bro. Judd Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Tildon. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Warren Riggs of Tupelo; one daughter, Chandra Riggs Trexler (Andrew) of Tupelo; one granddaughter, Cristan Trexler of Tupelo; two brothers, Billy Riggs (Mavis) of Nettleton and Jimmy Riggs (Elaine) of Mooreville. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Riggs; two nephews, Terry Riggs and Darren Riggs.
Pallbearers will be Michael Willis, Kevin Foster, Brad Foster, Kavin Warren, Brian Riggs, Benjamin Warren, Chris Long and Frank Key. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Warren, Morris Warren and Dan Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Primitive Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 5 – 8 Thursday and 10 – 11 Friday.
