Glen Eloy Henson (93) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away on June 8th, 2023. He was surrounded by loved ones at Wamplers Senior Home.
Glen was born in Tennessee December 21, 1929. He was one of eight. He was married to Margret Johnson on June 2nd, 1951 for 63 years until her calling to the Lord on December 14th 2016. Together they built a family of six with their four children. Who have lost a father, friend and hero. He will always be remembered as the most giving and kind hearted man on earth. He will be missed dearly by all those who met him. He worked at Bendix for 33 years until his retirement. They relocated to Alabama in 1985. Where he was cared for by his son, Gerald, after the loss of his wife until 2019. He then relocated with his daughter, Sharon (Jim) Ward, until the need extensive care. He then relocated to Wamplers Senior Home. We would like to recognize them for their support of Glen and our family.
Glen is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Jim) Ward of Walkerton IN ; son, Gerald Henson of Alabama.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Margret Henson; daughter, Brenda Hartman; son, Donald Henson ; grand daughter and great grand daughter.
He had 12 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Pastor Bender officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
